Top 5 Financial Apps to get

Image
Struggling financially isn’t anything new, but having an app on your hand that could help you back up, now that’s something. It’s so many great ways to either get your money back, avoid those overdraft fees, or save. When it comes to credit cards, using best practices such as paying bills on time or paying full amount by your due date can sometimes be overwhelming, so I’ve put together some apps that will help you achieve all this while you seat back and relax.  I’ve also included links to them below, hope this helps! 5. Sift Sift gives you money back if you buy anything online and the price drops. You get the difference, I can’t tell you how much money I’ve gotten back using this app. It’s a smart way to get extra money back. 4. Brigit The main reason I love this app is because it’s main function is to deposit money into your account when your account is about to be overdrawn that way you don’t get charged a fee, then you repay them back on your payday. It’s that easy. 3. Qapital ...

Simple Mistakes

Image
When I was young, my parents always thought me these Essential words in life such as, Thank you, hello, and I’m sorry . I realized that these words make you a more polite person, and I had a pretty good feeling that this were the words to live with. But as I grew much older, I started noticing that these three main essential words were being ignored repeatedly. I find it hard to believe that when you offer to open a door for someone, the person often lacks a simple word, “Thank you”. Is it really that hard? To just show the person that you appreciate them? I think not, but many people chose to ignore this simple task. Have you ever met someone who immediately jumps into a conversation without asking how you’re doing? Well me too. Greetings are supposed to be the key point to starting a conversation. When you ask someone how they’re doing, you decide whether the topic you had in mind is appropriate at the moment or not. Picture this: You've just received the news that your ...

Deciding On A Major

Deciding a major should not be your parent’s responsibility. School is supposed to be preparing you to get a job in your field on interest, not your parents’. Now a days, parents seem to think it’s also their job to decide what you study for in college. Think about it, you strive yourself through school for twelve years. You do your homework for however how many classes you had per day, you study hard just to pass those exam, you have to deal with someone you don’t like at school every single day, your head hurts frequently because you don’t get enough sleep every single day. But at the end of all that, your parents decide to choose what you’re going to study for in college? It’s perfectly understandable when parents help you choose, (not choose for you) when they lay all your options on the table, and you have to figure out what you want to do. That’s the difference between choosing a major for your kid, and helping your kid choose a major. Ever wondered why so many people choose...

21st Century Kids

Today begins my journey to write about my life as a teenager. Not only to differentiate or set aside huge differences between older generation's expectations towards teenagers, but to also point out the impacts our elders have towards us. Because according to our parents, and others, this generation could be better. Most of the time, they fail to realize that they raised us, we are the results of their parenting. Besides us failing to follow their footsteps, they also fail to realize that we're not them, we're different people, as time quickly changes, the world change, people change. What are your thoughts towards this statement?

REFLECTION OF 2014

Image
So, we’re at the edge of 2014, but what have we witness and learned during this entire year? what went wrong and right? well if you ask me, 90% of the things that happened this year went wrong. Some of the highlights of this year include People died Airplanes went missing War went on Girls got kidnapped Ebola breakdown Police ran out of control  These are just less than half of the major events that happened. The tears, sorrow, madness, and regrets we were filled with this year lead us to learn new lessons. We learned to move forward as humans, forgive others, practice equal rights, to make the future brighter than the past. Tomorrow starts a fresh page of another book. WHAT'S GOING TO BE IN IT, IS WHAT YOU’RE GOING TO DECIDE

Traveling

Image
Sup readers? Anyone traveling this holiday? Have you ever traveled somewhere where you still wished you would've stayed home? I know, the sound pointless to travel right? If you ever feel that way while traveling, ask yourself this question, "Why Did I Travel In the First Place?" and if what you traveled for didnt work out for you, make plan B. there's so much to do around the  world, and frankly, not everyone gets the Privilege  to travel as some of us do. So whenever you feel as if your purpose to travel didn't work out, find something else to do. The whole point is always to enjoy yourself.

Conflicts With New Year's Resolutions

Image
Many of us do this every single year. We set new goals to either change who we are, or make ourselves a better person than we already are. But why is there so many goals failing to be accomplished? Why do we stay the same person each year while every December we write all our goals down to be accomplished the upcoming year? These are the most common excuses 1.       I was scared to fail 2.       It was too much to do 3.       I had no support 4.       I didn’t know how to start 5.       Procrastinating (I’ll do it next year) When setting your goals, it’s obvious that they come with a purpose, be the person you want to become. Anyone can make a goal in this work, but  you've  got to remember, dedication and hard work is the key. Is you put your mind to it, you can achieve it. Follow Your Dreams...
